Auna Childress, a junior at Pittsburg State, won the women's triple jump title with a 43-10.50 (13.37m) effort in the fifth round at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Childress eclipsed her own Division 2 outdoor record of 43-8 (13.31m), which she achieved April 22 at the Pittsburg State Tune-Up.
