Cordell Tinch, a sophomore at Pittsburg State, won the men's 110-meter hurdles title in a wind-aided 12.87 seconds at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Tinch produced the fastest all-conditions performance in collegiate history, in addition to clearing 7-3 (2.21m) to capture the high jump crown and achieving a wind-legal leap of 26-9.25 (8.16m) to secure the long jump victory.
